Trillium 2005

An ADF Festival In Virginia

This year, Kirk went to Trillium, the ADF Festival hosted by Little Acorn Grove, ADF
at the Log Cabin Campground in Cross Junction, VA, from April 22-24, 2005

This year there was a strong Norse flavor due to a class and ritual held on Friday. This was followed by a Norse Blot (or
ritual), where we asked Thor for an end to the rain. The weather report had rain all day on Saturday and rain mixed with
snow for Sunday. The omen for the ritual ended with the rune for "sun". On Saturday, it was like we had a bubble over us -
the sun shone, and storms could be seen approaching us, only to split apart and go past on either side,
then to rejoin behind us. It was pretty incredible!

Thanks to Selene Tawny, Chief of the Warriors Guild, Kirk managed to sleep in the warm. She had an extra bunk in her
heated trailer and offered it to him! Woof!
