Imbolc 2007

Imbolc this year was more poignant than normal. As Summerlands has gone on the market, the Grove has decided
to move, and so this rite would be the last one in the Stone Circle. Appropriately, Imbolc 2002 was also the first
rite to be celebrated here. But there was still a tinge of sadness this day.

To help transfer the magic of this site to whatever new one the Grove acquires, a jar was passed during the
workings section of the rite, and Grove members were invited to offer something to it to go to the new location.
All offerings to the Tree were also placed in the jar at a later time, as well as any offerings left on the altars.

But this year we celebrated the coming of spring with a huge celebration for the Goddess Brigit, and as usualy,
this rite was performed by the women of the Grove, including our 2 newest ADF Dedicants, Andrea and Cassie.

The primary celebrants were Nora, Arlene, Andrea and Cassie.
