Beltane, 2004

This year, we decided to do our Beltane Ritual as a Scottish Faerie Rite. This was our first Scottish ritual, and we used the Irish Pantheon with the addition of Scotia as the Earth Mother. The Celebrants sported tartans and many had woad designs painted on their faces.

Our Scots performed many parts in the ritual, including Gordon Walker as Druid 1 (his first time!), Fiona Brigit as Druid 2 and Mark Cantwell as the Warrior. Arlene did her usual turn as the Bard, Gannd did Seer, Julian was the Sanctifier and Kirk was the Storyteller. Tree Willow Windsong invoked the Deities.

The Gods invoked were Oisin and his Faerie Princess, Niamh.
