2. Minutes.

   1. The Minutes of the meeting of 19 August 2003 were approved as submitted.
   2. The Minutes of the meeting of 22 October 2003 were approved as submitted.
      
3. Pursewarden's Report. The Pursewarden reported that the Grove had:

   1. Petty Cash - $63.30 (including the $15 from Sean Hunter for SSG dues)
   2. Checking - $262.63
      
4. Samhain 2003

   1. This ritual used the Irish Pantheon.
   2. We had 36 people in attendance.
   3. The Celebrants were:
      1. Druid 1 - Gannd
      2. Druid 2 - Tissha
      3. Druid 3 - Arlene
      4. Warrior - Gordon
      5. Seer - Kirk
      6. Bard - Greenvie
      7. Sanctifier - Linda
   4. Dadga and Morrigan were invoked; their myths were told; Gannd was installed as Senior Druid, being wedded to the earth; Greenvie sang Ian Corrigan's "Hoof and Horn", with Gordon, Tissha and Arlene as the wandering spirits and Kirk as Cernunnos; Kirk led the People in a trance journey to Tir na Nog; Fiona made her Dedicant Oath; and the music after the ritual was provided by Celtic Mist.
   5. The Omen was:
      1. Ancestors - "Bee" - Great fun in a community setting; a strong community.
      2. Nature Spirits - "Hind" - There is a need to be cautious and watchful.
      3. Shining Ones - "Fox" - We will need to act with diplomacy and cunning.
         
5. Alban Arthan (Winter Solstice) 2003

   1. This Ritual used the Welsh Pantheon.
   2. We had 38 people in attendance.
   3. The Celebrants were:
      1. Druid 1 - Kirk
      2. Druid 2 - Gannd
      3. Druid 3 - Gordon
      4. Warrior - Tissha
      5. Seer - Dame Julian (Greenvie)
      6. Bard - Arlene
      7. Sanctifier - Daki
   4. Lleu Llaw Gyffes and Gwydion were invoked; their myths were told; a working was done to "Strengthen the Sun".
   5. The Omen was:
      1. Nature Spirits - Empress - Lots of positive, creative energy.
      2. Ancestors - Emperor - Strong magic and strong leadership.
      3. Shining Ones - Strength reversed - The Gods are telling us to listen to them more carefully!
         
6. Imbolc 2004

   1. The Celebrants will be:
      1. Druid 1 - Dame Julian
      2. Druid 2 - Gannd
      3. Druid 3 - Nan
      4. Warrior - Gordon
      5. Bard - Kirk
      6. Seer - Don
      7. Sanctifier - Daki
   2. The Ritual will take place at 11:30 am on Saturday, January 31 at Summerlands.
      
7. Desert Magic Festival - May 6 - 9, 2004

   1. The Festival dates have been changed from April to May 6-9, 2004.
   2. The following people have confirmed as Presenters:

   3. We will do at least two rituals - one invoking Gods of Magic (Welsh Pantheon) Gwydion and Math, the other an ADF Unity Rite and Kirk's Dedicant Priest Consecration.
   4. Prices:
      1. Full SSG Grove Members (paid both ADF and Grove dues) - $10
      2. ADF Members (not paid Grove dues) - $25
      3. TAWN Members (not paid ADF nor Grove dues) - $40
      4. All Others - $45
      5. Children 17 and younger, accompanied by Parent or Guardian - Free
      6. All children must be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian.
   5. Meal Plan. $50 per person (includes Thursday dinner, Friday breakfast, lunch and dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner; Sunday breakfast and lunch).
   6. Insurance. Kirk will investigate event insurance. Don suggested the firm of Leavitt Insurance.
      
8. Membership Assistance.

   1. Motion: The Grove will pay Don and Arlene's ADF Membership renewals. They will repay the Grove when they can. Motion approved.

   5. Summer Solstice - June 19, 2004 - Summerlands Stone Circle, 7 pm - Gate opens at 6:30 pm. This will be a Gaulish Pantheon Rite.
