2. Minutes. The Minutes of the meeting at Kirk & Steve's house on 20 June, 2003 were approved as corrected:

   1. Correct typo at 4.b. (the word "Gand" becomes "Gannd").
   2. Correct typo at 7.a.vi. ("Bards" becomes "Bard").
      
3. Pursewarden's Report. Arlene reported that we have $91.70 in Petty Cash and a balance of $94.16 in the checking account for a total of $185.86.
   
4. New Business

   1. Fundraising
      1. Kirk still has to send Francesca photos of the box and rocks with the SSG logo on them.
      2. Joanne Van Boozian (the ceramics lady) has finished the prototype plaques. Kirk will bring them to the next meeting.
   2. Grove Public Outreach -
      1. The Grove cleaned a section of the Rillito Riverwalk containing the Sun Circle.
      2. The next cleanup will take place Saturday, August 10. We will meet at Greenvie's at 6 am.
   3. SSG Banner. Gannd made the following motion, seconded by Michele:
      1. Gannd and Kirk bought 2 banners of different sizes.
      2. They overspent by $45.26. MOTION: The Grove authorizes the excess spending for the banners. Motion Approved.
   4. Logo Patches. Gannd reported that making patches for shirts or jackets would cost about $8 - $12 each.
   5. Fall Fest.
      1. Witchs' Ball - will be held on Sept. 26 from 8 pm until midnight. Cost is: Advance - $10 per person, $15 per couple. At the door: $15 per person, $20 per couple.
      2. Fall Fest will take place on Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Unitarian Church on 22nd Street from 10 am until 5 pm. The Open Ritual will take place at 6 pm.
   6. Newsletter. Kirk reported that the Newsletter went out in July.
      
5. Handfasting in Sierra Vista - 12 July 2003

   1. A Handfasting for Taryn and her husband took place in their own circle in Sierra Vista. It rained during the ritual, which was pleasant. However, we were forced to put out our fire.
   2. Celebrants were:

   2. The ritual had 88 people attend! We counted 74 after we opened the gates, then 88 for the Return Flow, with more people arriving by potluck. There had been an article in the Arizona Star called, "Partying with the Pagans" in which our ritual and location were mentioned. Over half of our attendees were new people.
   3. Morgan's Omen was good. She pulled the 9 Swords, Page of Pentacles and the 3 Rods. "The Gods, have seen and taken notice of suffering below them, and of gifts given. In the future there are changes that we cannot yet see. There will be release and flow in the Universe, and all will come out as it should."
