2. Minutes. The Minutes of 4 September were approved as amended:

   1. In 5.a., remove apostrophe after Gannd's name.
   2. In 7.b., add after Grove pre-approval to the end of the sentence.
   3. In 7.c., change Arizona Community.com to www.arizonacommunity.com.
      
3. Pursewarden's Report.

   1. The Pursewarden reported that there was $105.25 in the Treasury at this time.
      
4. SSG Newsletter.

   1. The first issue of the newsletter has gone out to all ADF Groves and Protogroves and everyone who has requested it.
   2. A few of the copies sent to Groves have been returned as undeliverable.
      
5. Contacting Past ADF Members in Tucson.

   1. Gannd still has not heard from Epona. He will send her another e-mail.

6. Fall Fest.

   1. Gannd attended the rehearsal last Sunday and everyone was impressed with his "Closing the Gates".
   2. Gannd, with assistance from other Grove members, will open and close the gates for the TAWN ritual.
      
7. Advertising.

   1. Gannd will create an ad and show it to the Grove for approval.
   2. The Daily Star and Tucson Citizen - Gannd will e-mail our ritual information to them two weeks before each event after Grove pre-approval.
   3. Tucson Weekly, U of A Wildcat and www.arizonacommunity.com - Gannd now has the information about submissions.
   4. We will make our first advertising submission in time for Samhain.
      
8. Membership Renewals

   1. Kirk is still waiting for the ADF expiration dates for some members.
   2. Kirk will make a proposal about renewals at the next meeting.

   1. We received a newsletter from the Grove Of The Other Gods in New Jersey.
   2. Any Grove member who wants to read it may do so and pass it on to another member. When all interested members have read it, it shall be filed in our Grove records.
      
10. Autumn Equinox Ritual.

    1. Celebrants will be:
       1. Druid 1 - Don
       2. Druid 2 - Gannd
       3. Seer - Morgan (unless she is still ill, then Kirk will take it)
       4. Bard - Arlene
    2. Michele delivered the new banners for use in the Circle for this holiday.
       
11. Welsh Holiday Names

    1. Kirk reported on the Welsh names for the Solstices and Equinoxes.
       1. Samhain - Calan Gaef (First Day of Winter)
       2. Winter Solstice - Alban Arthan
       3. Imbolc - Canol Gaeaf (Middle of Winter)
       4. Spring Equinox - Alban Eiler
       5. Beltane - Calan Mai (First Day of May)
       6. Summer Solstice - Alban Hefin
       7. Lughnasadh - Gwyl Ifan (Feast of Summer)
       8. Autumn Equinox - Alban Elfed
    2. Kirk will prepare a Bylaw proposal about the names of the Holidays for Grove use.
       1. We will use the Welsh names for the Solstices and Equinoxes (followed by the name in English in parentheses) and the Irish names for the other four.
       2. For the Welsh named holidays, we will use the Welsh names for the Gods whenever possible.
       3. For the Irish named holidays, we will use the Irish names when possible.
       4. We will continue to use the Gaulish names for Taranis and Cernunnos regardless of holiday.
          
12. Samhain Ritual.

    1. Celebrants will be:
       1. Druid 1 - Gannd
       2. Druid 2 - Don
       3. Seer - Kirk
       4. Bard - Arlene
    2. The Ritual will take place at Summerlands Stone Circle on Thursday, October 31 just before sunset. Gates will open at 5:30 pm.
