MEETING MINUTES
Meeting at Maxim's Restaurant, Tucson, AZ
May 1, 2002

1. Present were Gannd, Don, Arlene, Kirk, Michele and guest Sally.

2. Minutes. The Minutes of the last meeting at Maxims on April 3, 2002 were approved with two corrections:
    In 7.b., Garr is the correct spelling (not Gan) and in 10.c., the date should be May 5, not April 5.

3. Beltane.
    a.   This year our Beltane ritual will be the TAWN Open Ritual on Sunday, May 5 at 6:30 pm at Summerlands
          Stone Circle.
    b.   Earth Day is on May 4 this year.
    c.   Celebrants for Beltane will be:
          1)    Druid 1 - Gannd
          2)    Druid 2 - Kirk
          3)    Bard - Arlene
          4)    Seer - Don
    d.   For the ritual script, any "inspired" sections will be annotated with the major points needing to be covered.
    e.   Gannd noted that consistency was needed in our opening statements in the Kindred Invocations so that           we call them all by the same names:
          1)    Ancient Ones (for the Ancestors)
          2)    Noble Ones (for the Nature Spirits)
          3)    Shining Ones (for the Gods)
    f.   We will try out the Group Vibration Chant on Saturday and use it for Beltane if it works.

4. Pursewarden's Report.
    a.    The Pursewarden reported that as of May 18, we have $60 in the treasury.

5. ADF Provisional Grove Membership.
    a.   We are still waiting for the IRS response to the correction on our Grove name that we sent them so that
          the form can be sent to ADF.

6. Wellspring Festival.
    a.    The registration forms have been completed.
    b.    Kirk will mail in the forms with a check and everyone will reimburse him.
    c.    Kirk will get a triptic from AAA for the route.
    d.    Logistics
          1)    Gannd will get the trailer from Don and Arlene on Sunday, May 26.
          2)    Kirk and Gannd will pre-pack the truck on Sunday night.
          3)    Michele will spend the night at Kirk and Steve's on Sunday night.
          4)    We all meet on Monday, May 27 at NOON at Gannd's to head out.

9. SSG Dedicant Program Meeting Dates.
    a.    May 6, 2002 - Don and Arlene's house at 7pm.
    b.    May 13, 2002 - Michele's house at 7 pm (bring your own chair).
    c.    May 20, 2002 - Gannd's house at 7 pm.
    d.    June 17, 2002 - Kirk and Steve's house at 7 pm.

10. Next SSG Meetings.
     a.    May 15, 2002 - Regular meeting at Gannd's house at 6:30 pm.
     b.    June 5, 2002 - Regular meeting at Maxim's Restaurant CANCELLED due to Wellspring.
     c.    June 19, 2002 - Regular meeting at Don and Arlene's house, 6:30 pm.
