Meeting at Kirk & Steve's house, Tucson, AZ
20 February 2002
1. Present were Gannd, Don, Arlene, Kirk and Steve.
2. Minutes. The Minutes of the last meeting at Maxim's restaurant were approved with the following addition: in number 4, ADF Dedicant Program, the time of the meetings will be at 7:00 pm.
3. Ostara ritual will take place at the Summerlands Stone Circle on Wednesday, March 20th at sunset. Meet at Summerlands at 6:00 pm with the ritual starting about 6:30 pm. This is an open ritual, open to anyone.
4. Mother Earth Ministries
a. Gannd has their Druidry pamphlet ready and will turn it over to them next week.
b. Don has been working with the Asatru pagans in the prisons.
c. Don has two new Druids in the system.
d. Don is serving 20 units in 3 complexes (Florence Central, Florence Eyeman and Lewis at Buckeye.
e. Don starts at the Douglas complex on March 12.
f. Don will be serving close to 200 inmates on all pagan paths, 6 of which are declared Druids.
5. Pursewarden's Report
a. We now have $44.19 which includes the coins offered to the well.
b. All members will now donate $1 per person at each meeting.
6. ADF Dedicant's Program
a. Meetings will take place on Monday's at 7 pm.
b. The meetings scheduled so far include:
1) Monday, March 4 - meeting at Don & Arlene's
2) Monday, March 11 - meeting at Summerlands (Kirk and Steve's)
3) Monday, March 18 - meeting at Don & Arlene's
4) Monday, March 25 - meeting at Summerlands
5) Future meetings will be determined in March.
c. Those present discussed the program and how we will proceed.
d. The first book to be discussed will be Real Magic, by Issac Bonewits. Be prepared to discuss the first chapter on March 4.
7. Next Meetings
a. The next general meeting will take place at Maxim's Restaurant on Wednesday, March 6 at 6:30 pm.
b. The next ADF Dedicant meeting will take place at Don & Arlene's on Monday, March 4 at 7 pm.
