1. Present were Gannd, Don, Arlene, Michele and Kirk

2. The Minutes of the last meeting at Maxim's Restaurant were discussed and accepted as circulated.

3. We discussed adding a line to our current advertising flyer mentioning the meeting we have in member's homes    on the third Wednesday of the month along with a phone number as a "please call" information notice.
     a. Gannd will make the change on it's next printing. He will also add the new SSG logo.
     b. Gannd will e-mail Kirk all of his ADF logo graphics files.

4. Kirk reported that the Post Office asked him to come back after Christmas to get the new PO box for the    Grove.

5. As this was the first Annual Meeting of the Sonoran Sunrise Grove, elections were held for the posts of Senior    Druid, Pursewarden and Scribe. The nominations made one month ago at the meeting at Gannd's house were as    follows:

   No other nominations were forthcoming from the floor so all three were elected unanimously.

6. Kirk presented two options he had created of a new SSG logo, one with a Saguaro and another with a    Mesquite tree.
   MOTION: The logo for the SSG be the one with the Saguaro using the following changes:
     a. The red and yellow rays of the sunrise should be reversed so that the Saguaro stands out more clearly.
     b. White flowers should be added to the Saguaro.
     c. A border frame should be added around the writing on the logo.
   Motion approved.

7. Winter Solstice Ritual
     a. We need a sprig of holly. It was suggested that it could be obtained at a nursery or at a flower shop.
     b. We discussed the use of a wreath in the sacrifice portion of our rituals. We had used one at Samhain, tying          black strings on it to commemorate our dead, then burned the wreath. We also are using one, which will be          burned, at our Winter Solstice ritual.
     MOTION: That we use a wreath, which will be burned, as a usual part of our future rituals. Motion approved.
