  • Conversation & Comestibles
  • Liberty Spirit Gathering VI date officially set for July 27-31, 2000. Organizer Don Davis says everything looking good, guest speakers tentatively scheduled are Isaac Bonewits and Margot Adler. Site scheduling is confirmed.
  • Don Davis reports on his attendance at PantheaCon. Convention went well. O. and M. Zell are both well. SSG formation officially announced at PantheaCon. Reminder: PantheaCon always scheduled for President's Day weekend.
  • Reminder. Ostara Ritual scheduled for March 22nd, at Don & Arlene Davis's house. Don Davis will lead the ritual. Potluck starts at 6p.m., Ritual starts at 7p.m.
  • Next SSG meeting will be on April 12th, at 6:30 p.m., at JB's restaurant on Benson Highway and Park.
  • Gannd reminded Craig to finish preparing a publishable copy of SSG's Yule '99 ritual, including ingredients and prep list, for Grove book.
  • Gannd reminded Don to prepare his Ostara '00 ritual in publishable copy, including ingredients and prep list, for Grove book.
  • Gannd is currently nearing completion on "Druid's Costumes and Tools." This will be in both handout/article forms as well as in a "class" format.
  • Craig is currently working on a Recycling handout. This will be made available at future T.A.W.N. meetings, as well as any events SSG participates in.
  • Both Gannd and Don are working with ADF for official recognition of SSG. We are already "unofficially" recognized, and the delay is merely administrative, not due to any problems.
  • Gannd did a class for Arizona Student Pagans. The class was small but went well. A reporter for the Arizona Wildcat was in attendance, but was more interested in sensationalism and left early. Gannd distributed handouts "Druidry 101" and "ADF- What Neopagan Druids Believe."
  • Gannd is currently prepping handout packets for members of SSG who teach or lecture. These handouts include (but will not be limited to) "Druidry 101" and "ADF- What Neopagan Druids Believe." This will make it easier for situations with little or no prep time.
  • Craig recognized as SSG Scribe. Will take notes at meetings, submitting them to Gannd who will distribute them to the SSG members mailing list.
